Brad Woodward has won the prestigious double at this year’s Toowoon Bay Ocean Swim.
The 15-year old Shelly Beach lifesaver finished 39 seconds ahead of Royal Life Saving Society Australia Development Team member Tom Simpson in the one kilometre event, and was also triumphant in the John MacNamara Memorial Open 400.
The two kilometre race was cancelled due to a severe thunderstorm.
