They won Olympic Gold in London and the world championship in Croatia, so it’s no wonder Lake Macquarie’s Nathan Outteridge and Iain Jensen are feeling hard done by in the latest sailing rankings.
Outteridge has questioned the system on Twitter, after the duo were ranked 16th in the 49er class.
The sport’s governing body says the rankings are a culmination of all events in the past 12 months.
The Olympic Games do not count for points, while the world titles are treated the same as any other event.
