GAV’S WEATHER | CONDITIONS IMPROVING OVER THE NEXT WEEK

The last of the cloud band is now affecting QLD, while clipping NE NSW.

The rain periods are easing and fine weather will return to the Greater Hunter and NW this weekend.

QLD is going to be hit with more rain, producing another day of widespread flash flooding and broad scale river flooding as the wet season kicks in.

The east coast will still be heavily cloud affected with a few isolated showers for the the northern NSW coast and SE QLD.

The north coast will have better weather next week.

The SE winds will continue but ease across the weekend.
