Just a day after re-signing defender Nikolai Topor-Stanley to a new two-year deal, the Newcastle Jets have also secured the signature of young striker Marko Jesic for a further two seasons.
Jesic endured three knee reconstructions before his 21st birthday, but is enjoying a great run this season, leading the team in goals and games played.
He benefited more than most from the guest stint of former English international, Francis Jeffers.
