After insurance issues caused the Peel Schools Rugby League Carnival to be canned this year, organisers have called a meeting to elect an organisational committee.
The 2015 cancellation was the third in a row, and fears have grown about the future of Australia’s longest running schoolboy gala day.
Discussions will be held on October 13 at Tamworth’s Diggers Club, and will start at 7pm.
