In the Upper Mid North Coast Rugby Union competition Kempsey has beaten Southern Cross University by just two points in a close encounter.
That wasn’t the case for Hastings Valley, which easily accounted for Coffs Harbour.
Andrew West put down two tries for the Vikings in the second, with Adam McCormack, Chris Johnson and Peter Segol each putting one away in the first half.
