Meanwhile Bingara will celebrate its annual Orange festival this weekend.
A picking ceremony will kick the event off tomorrow, in memory of the town’s fallen soldiers from World War One and Two.
$300 will be up for grabs for the person who finds the biggest orange.
The carnival will take place on Saturday, which includes a fun run and a big line-up of entertainment.
It’s all centred around the iconic fruit, which over time has come to symbolise community pride.
