There’s more heartbreak for Andrew Nabbout, with confirmation he’s facing six months on the sideline, after dislocating his shoulder in Australia’s loss to Denmark.
The former Newcastle Jet has flown to Melbourne, where he’ll undergo a shoulder reconstruction.
It’s the second time he’s suffered the injury… the first came in May while making his first J-League start for the Urawa Red Diamonds.
Nabbout is hopeful of returning in time to feature in Australia’s Asian Cup campaign, in January.
