Tyson Leota has been charged after an alleged brawl at Lake Macquarie earlier this month.
Just before 5pm on Saturday, September 19, police were called to a sporting ground at Dora Creek, after reports of a physical altercation.
After extensive inquiries, the 22-year-old attended Newcastle Police Station about 8.30am today, where he was arrested.
Leota has been charged with affray and assault occasioning actual bodily harm.
He’ll face Newcastle Local Court today.
