Make a Wish volunteers are busy preparing for the second “Awesome Auction For Wishes” event this Saturday.
450 items, including jewellery, gift cards and plenty of toys, will go under the hammer.
Auctioneer Tony Mansfield will also attempt to break his previous world record – and sell them all in 4 hours and 20 minutes.
“I’m expecting a lot of pain, last year it took 10 days for my voice to recover, so this year i’m trying a few trips to keep my voice lubricated during the event.”
“Last year we raised $17,000 from this event so this year we’re going for the $20,000 mark.”
The Auction kicks of at Robina Town Centre at 10am.
