DISQUALIFIED HUNTER DRIVER ALLEGEDLY CAUGHT AT TWICE THE SPEED LIMIT

A Dungog woman will front court today after allegedly being nabbed driving at twice the speed limit on John Renshaw Drive, with a disqualified license.
Officers from Highway Patrol spotted the Hyundai Elantra sedan at 11:30 yesterday morning, at Black Hill.
It’s alleged the 29-year-old behind the wheel was travelling at 116km/hr in a 60 zone.
When officers conducted checks, they allegedly found she was a disqualified driver.
It’s further alleged she was travelling with 2-year-old girl in the back seat.
The woman was taken to Maitland Police Station, where she was charged with a number of offences including dangerous driving.
