Police are appealing for information, after a German national was found with serious injuries outside a home in Byron Bay on Saturday morning.
Ambulance crews were called to Ruskin Street at around 3.30am, where they located a man with injuries to his head, face, wrists and hands.
The 22-year-old was taken to the Gold Coast University Hospital for treatment, but the injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.
Detectives are appealing for anyone with information to come forward.
