A Valentine woman will receive one of Australia’s most distinguished bravery awards, after rescuing seven people trapped in floodwaters during the June 2007 floods.
Namoi Roskell says she’s humbled by the recognition, but her reward is knowing that the people she saved, still wake up each morning.
