The good news is the howling northerly winds have abated along the Coffs Coast today, the bad news is the swell has not increased.
Today we filmed a small group of mal riders and surf schoolies cooling off at the Gallows in Coffs Harbour. With scorching summertime temperatures and light north east breezes the water looked a good place to be despite the placid waves.
Much the same is expected over the weekend with light NE to SE winds and maybe a half metre swell.
