The Hemp Party says it still plans to find somewhere to inflate Nimbin’s famous Giant Joint during US President Barack Obama’s visit to Canberra next week, despite being warned not to.
The party had hoped to offer the 10 metre icon to the President, however the Australian Federal Police has banned the float.
Organisers are hoping the stunt will put the issue of legalising medicinal marijuana on the agenda.
