This years North West 2020 AFL season will go ahead without the New England Nomads.
The side announcing it will sit out the shortened competition as covid-19 had hurt their player ranks.
It’s unclear at this stage if any other clubs will fail to form a men’s side.
The AFL comp is scheduled to restart on July 18.
