A 19-year-old woman who was killed in a car accident south of Tamworth early on Sunday morning has been named as Quirindi local Shonae McCabe.
Police say the teenage driver hit a duck on Werris Creek Road – the wet conditions causing her to lose control of her Hyundai Hatchback and hit a tree.
More than $10,000 has been raised for Shonae’s family – through a GoFund Me page, to go towards funeral expenses.
