They were once used to deliver mail, now they’re delivering hope to the hundreds of families who pass through the John Hunter Children’s Hospital’s Music Therapy Program.
Almost 20 riders atop old postie bikes left Dudley today on a 900-kilometre journey up the coast, to raise funds for the program, which brightens the lives of sick children.
” Just to try and help the hospital out, make life a little bit more enjoyable for the kids while they’re in there help them pass the time and take their mind off what they’re in there for.” – Anthony McNamara, Organiser.
The group hopes to reach Byron Bay sometime before Sunday.
