OPERATION GO SLOW WRAPS UP

Operation go slow wrapped up last night, after targeting driver behaviour over the Anzac day long weekend and the end of school holidays.

Police in the Oxley Local Area Command conducted 2300 random breath tests, recording five positive results

“Three of the five pca’s were mid-range, so they’re strong readings as well, so that’s also a concern given how high that some of those readings are that people aren’t getting the message you can’t drink and drive.”

An 18-year-old female p-plater also lost her licence, after she was detected travelling at 127 kilometres per hour on the Kamilaroi Highway near Gunnedah.
