A 35-year-old woman was arrested overnight after she allegedly assaulted a 14-year-old boy in Tamworth’s Tingira Street.
Police allege the woman struck the boy on the shoulder with what was believed to be a metre-long curtain rod.
She was charged with common assault and using an offensive weapon.
