Recreational fishing groups are being encouraged to apply for a grant from a $12-million New South Wales Government trust fund, designed to enhance community fishing facilities.
Programs funded in previous years include artificial reefs, fish stock programs and the restoration of marine habitats.
The state government says the grants can be used by groups, councils and individuals to provide fish aggregation devices, fish cleaning tables and research.
Applications close on the 20th of March.
