The heritage sensitive upgrade to Brunswick Head’s iconic South Arm bridge will begin this week.
The project will see a number of load-bearing components replaced and decaying timber removed.
Repurposed materials from the dismantled Bangalow bridges will be used in the upgrade.
It’s expected to take 15 weeks to complete.
