He hasn’t featured in the Jets squad in recent weeks, but Nick Cowburn received a huge confidence boost today, named in a 22-player Australian development squad for a camp in Spain.
Beginning on March 20, the nine-day camp will be run by Olyroos coach Josip Gombau, with Cowburn the only A-League player to get the nod.
The squad will also play two matches against Austria and Finland’s under-21 teams.
