MOREE WOMAN DIES IN HOSPITAL AFTER RIVERINA CRASH

A Moree woman who was critically injured in a single vehicle accident in the Riverina region has died in hospital.

Emergency services were called to a highway intersection near Whitton, after reports a prime mover had rolled.

The 63-year-old passenger was airlifted to Canberra Hospital but died from her injuries yesterday afternoon.

The 53-year-old male driver underwent mandatory testing.

Investigations into the cause of the crash are ongoing.

The woman spent most of her life in the North West town, before moving to Sydney.
