The final night of Schoolies celebrations has passed without major incident on the Gold Coast.
The event concluded this morning in Surfers Paradise, with police reporting only eight schoolies being arrested for street and drug-related offences.
A further 15 non-schoolies were arrested on 20 offences for public nuisance and drug offences.
Despite organised activites for schoolies now ending, a police presence focusing on licensed venues will remain in place over the next two weeks, as a large number of interstate schoolies begin arriving on the Gold Coast.
