The plan for a stronger university presence in the Manning-Great Lakes region is one step closer to reality, with a new board of members, heading the initiative, announced today.
The new Taree campus will provide a hub for distance learning, combining several education providers.
The program includes face-to-face tutorials and access to online technology.
Federal Member for Lyne, Dr. David Gillespie is now seeking funding to get the project underway.
