COMMUNITY UNITES TO DISCUSS PROPOSED CUTS

And in Tamworth, teachers and parents also made their feelings known.
Around 250 people gathered in Bicentennial Park to voice their concerns over the proposed $1.7 billion worth of cuts to take place over four years.
The New South Wales Teachers Federation says it expects the cutbacks to have an impact on classes, classroom support and front line teaching services.
Tamworth was one of 38 regional venues to host the day.
