There will be NO racing at the Armidale greyhound track this Saturday.
Both the Tamworth and Armidale tracks have been closed indefinitely by the state’s peak body.
All racing and training has been suspended in Tamworth until an independent track safety assessment can be carried out…
While remediation works must be completed in Armidale to ensure dog welfare.
It’s a blow to the region, following the closure of Gunnedah’s track in February.
