“TRANSPARENCY” DISCUSSED AT MINE CONFERENCE

The mining industry is pushing ahead with plans to incorporate weather predictions into their air quality management systems to help prepare for adverse weather conditions that contribute to dust generation.

This idea, along with the implementation of a “water accounting framework” across all mines in the Upper Hunter region are being discussed at the NSW Minerals Council’s Environment and Community Conference underway in Cessnock.
