Sad news from the Mid North Coast this morning, with a man losing his life after his boat flipped at Nambucca Heads.
It’s understood the vessel capsized while crossing the bar, with a member of the public alerting emergency services at around 6:30 on Tuesday morning.
Surf life saving crews were called to the location to coordinate the search, with a body later found washed onto a nearby beach.
The boat was also located near the man’s body.
A Westpac Rescue Helicopter was also tasked to the scene, however wasn’t required.
