More than 50 activists took part in a peaceful protest last night outside the Professional Bull Riding event at Broadmeadow.
“People find it no longer acceptable to tournament and treat animal inhumanely in the guise of entertainment. I think we’re on the wrong side of history at the minute and we’re moving forward and things are changing.”
Professional Bull Riding Australia says it operates under strict animal welfare guidelines.
