CHILDREN GET A FLYING VISIT

Children at the Coffs Harbour preschool were today given a flying visit from the Westpac Rescue helicopter service.

Crew members dropped in to tell the kids all about their life-saving work, as part of a community awareness program.

There was the chance to play dress ups, and for children to test out their building skills.

The helicopter service costs more than $6.5 million to run annually, and relies heavily on community support.
