Local trainer Trevor Salmoni has come away with $12,000 worth of prize money after taking out the prestigious Grafton Taylor Maiden race with greyhound Ricochet Rose last night.
Trevor says he was always confident of a win.
It didn’t surprise me at all no, he’s been trialling good ever since I brought him in.”
Up against seven of the best greyhounds in the nation, Ricochet Rose finished the 407 metre race in an impressive 22.91 seconds.
