There’s been a lucky escape for the pilot of a light aircraft in the Hunter Valley, after he was forced to make an emergency landing at Scone.
It’s understood the pilot reported an issue with the plane’s landing gear at around 10 o’clock on Friday morning, with emergency services rushing to the town’s airport.
The plane eventually landed without incident.
A spokesperson from NSW Ambulance later confirming the pilot had walked away uninjured.
