Police are urging residents and holiday makers to lock up their valuables, following a series of break-ins in the Forster-Tuncurry region.
There have been 33 incidents in the past month alone – and they haven’t been restricted to just homes and businesses, with high-rise buildings also targeted.
Police believe thieves have been climbing balconies and gaining entry through unlocked doors and windows, stealing a range of items from cash and phones, to jewellery and car keys.
