Volunteer organisations within the region, can now connect with other like minded groups, thanks to the launch of a new project.
‘R-U Volunteering’ is an online centre where organisations can promote their roles and connect with volunteers directly.
People can also register their interest in person, through the Lands Building in Fitzroy Street Tamworth.
The initiative also has the backing of Tamworth Regional Council.
It’s hoped the program will encourage more younger people to volunteer.
