The Hunter Hurricanes have finished fifth in the Australian Water Polo League.
Despite two wins against Sydney Uni during the regular season – the Hunter side went down to the Lions in an elimination semi final overnight.
The Lions got out to a four nil lead in the first quarter and never looked back – ending up 14-6 winners.
