A 17-year-old boy will face Taree Children’s Court next month, charged with breaking into a house at Mundrook last night.
The teenager was also the focus of a search operation late yesterday, involving the Westpac Rescue helicopter, police and locals.
His friends raised the alarm at around 6 o’clock after he failed to return from a swim in the Manning River.
He was later found safe and well at his home.
