The Group 2 rugby league judiciary is set for a busy week,
with six players sent off in the Comets and Rebels clash yesterday.
What started as a push and shove, quickly escalated.
“give it to him Miles, give it to him, aah send him off”
The melee saw the Rebels down one with this send-off, but the Comets’ target Miles Fairbanks was sent too, sporting a black eye.
It wasn’t long before another brawl erupted.
A flurry of punches by this Rebels player resulted in four players being sent off.
Group 2 president Warren Gilkinson has called for a report on the match.
