A special event in Taree this week will celebrate the achievements of people living with a disability.
Its called ‘Celebrating Abilities’ and it coincides with International Day of People with Disability.
An awards ceremony will kickstart the event, with prizes for art, cooking and poetry competitions.
This will be followed by a variety concert, which features local performers and inspirational speakers.
The events gets underway at 10.30 on Friday morning at Saxby’s Basketball Stadium.
