She didn’t win a single round of the national Ironwoman series, but that hasn’t stopped former Sawtell girl, Courtney Hancock, from being crowned the overall champion.
The 22-year-old came fifth in the final round at Noosa today, but took the overall points victory after putting in a consistent performance over all five races.
She labelled her maiden win, a childhood dream come true.
