PORT MACQUARIE-HASTINGS WATER RESTRICTIONS SCALED BACK

Some good news for the Port Macquarie-Hastings region today with water restrictions scaled back to level two.

The easing of restrictions comes after strong rainfall in the catchment area last month.

The Local Government Area was in Level Four water restrictions in January, before reducing to level three in February.

From today, residents can use a handheld hose for 30 minutes, between 9am and 4pm every second day.
