Upgrades to Wauchope’s CBD are on track to be finished in the second half of the year.
Around three quarters of the new footpath on the southern side has been installed, while work on the first of several traffic islands for the new pedestrian crossing is also nearing completion.
The $2.6 million dollar project, funded by Port Macquarie-Hastings Council, aims to improve pedestrian safety and make the area more aesthetically pleasing.
