The Liberals continue to slowly announce Hunter candidates for next month’s state election, with Wallsend now locked in.
Nick Trappett will aim to topple long-standing Labor MP, Sonia Hornery.
It’s a tough task – the Liberals have never won the Wallsend electorate… and Ms Hornery holds the seat with a margin of almost 20 per cent.
