Sporting groups across the Macleay Valley may get a new training facility with the state government announcing $10-million to transform the towns central sporting precinct, if re-elected.

Upgrades would include reconfiguration of existing fields a refurbishment of the existing grandstand, new lighting to competition standard on all fields, courts and ancillary areas and an expansion of car parking.
