Teams of firefighters from across Australia and New Zealand will put their skills to the test in Port Macquarie this weekend, at the Australasian Firefighters Championships.
180 competitors will take part in the competition at Westport Park, with all 10 disciplines simulating actual fire fighting techniques.
Fire safety will also be a focus of the two-day championships, with demonstrations and educational activities scheduled across the weekend.
A training day will be held tomorrow, with the action getting underway at 8am on Saturday.
