A Urunga family has claimed the top prize at the 17th annual Putt Bennett Family Fishing Festival in Mylestom, with a collective total of 112 kilos.
But thanks to ideal conditions on the Bellinger River there were plenty of impressive catches across the board.
A record 630 anglers casted their lines for the three day event.
The final weigh-in was held at North Beach Bowling Club this morning.
More points were awarded for live fish to encourage their release – this year 400 out of around 900 were set free.
