Tamworth cyclist Sam Spokes has been selected to represent the Victorian Institute of Sport
in the Sun Tour next month.
The tour is a major professional teams-based event that includes some of the best cyclists from Australia and around the world.
The four-day competition leads into the ‘Tour Down Under’ which will also be held January.
The news tops off an exciting year for Spokes, last month he was inducted into the Omega Pharma-Quickstep Continental team.
