The rise and rise of Hunter para-triathlete Lauren Parker continued today, signed to the prestigious Bahrain Endurance 13 team, alongside several world champions, including England’s Alistair Brownlee and fellow Aussie, Ashleigh Gentle.
The world’s leading professional triathlon team is limited to just 13 competitors, with Parker becoming the first and only para-triathlete to be included on the annually changing roster.
Parker says her selection allows her to properly chase her goal of becoming world champion and then qualify for the 2020 Paralympics.
