Cooks Hill Surf Life Saving Club has claimed it’s first ever age state championships, at Blacksmiths today.
The juniors, toppling front runners, Avalon by just three points.
“It was quite tough but my mum told me to push through and I did and that’s how I got first.” said Lily Egan, Cooks Hill team member.
Swansea-Belmont joined Cooks Hill in the top 12, finishing fourth.
